1. What is The Better Cat?

The Better Cat wants to (re)define cat nutrition. We are a start-up based in Hamburg, Germany and offer our customers nutrition-focused, innovative and more sustainable food that is exclusively designed for cats.

2. What is The Better Cat's mission?

Our mission is to make this world a kinder, better place for animals.

3. How does The Better Cat subscription work?

It's very simple! Just find the product you like, choose the "subscribe & save" option. Add to cart and checkout with your preferred payment method. We will fulfil your order in the next 72 hours and you'll get a new order every four weeks at your preferred address of choice. Via the "manage subscription" in your customer account section, you can flexibly skip, reschedule, update address or even cancel your subscription in less than 3 steps.

The Savings Plan is a monthly contract that can be changed, skipped, paused or cancelled anytime. No minimum commitment. You can do it:

  1. Yourself via the account section after logging in by clicking on "sparplan verwalten",
  2. Simply sending us an email on purr@thebettercat.com
  3. Messaging us via the store chat function.

4. Where are your ingredients sourced from?

Our ingredients are sourced almost exclusively from European sources, when possible. We focus on low CO2 emissions, as well as short delivery routes.

5. Where is your food made?

Our dry food is manufactured in France.

6. How long does your food last?

Our dry food has a shelf life of approximately a year and a half, when kept in a dry and dark place, at room temperature. Please check packaging for exact date of expiry.

7. How do I best transition from my old food to The Better Cat?

We do offer a guide and some tips for the transition to our products. Please find it on our product pages.

    Habe eine nierenkranke Katze und muss auf Protein- und Phosphorgehalt achten. Leider finde ich zu Phosphor keine Angaben bei der Zusammensetzung des Feuchtfutters.

    Hallo liebes The Better Cat Team.

    Da meine beiden Kater sehr wählerisch sind, bin ich immer auf der Suche nach einem guten Futter. Ihr Probierpaket ist im Prinzip eine gute Sache, ich fände es jedoch besser, wenn es von jeder Sorte Nassfutter nur je ein Exemplar und das Trockenfuter in einer kleineren Menge enthielte. Vielleicht wäre dies umsetzbar? Danke und viele Grüße aus Sachsen
